Art Deco barware. "Thirst Extinguisher"
musical decanter. Fun way to serve your favorite beverage. As
the decanter says "Thirst Extinguisher" with instructions to
"Dispense Freely For Best Results" and "To Refill Call Your
Host". Decanter is made to look like a cocktail shaker but
instead houses a glass decanter (non-removable). Fire
extinguisher top removes to reveal liquor pourer fashioned into
a cork seal. Wind up music box plays "How Dry I Am" when
decanter is lifted. This is one item to "Keep Available for
Emergency".

Art Deco barware. Fun and functional
canape plates with matching beverage cups. Plate has circular
indention to hold the cup in place on the plate. The thoughtful
host knows what a difficult balancing act that guests have when
trying to hold their beverage in one hand and their hors douevre
plate in the other and eat at the same time. These wonderful
trays with matching cups solve this dilemma by combining the
plate and cup into one.

Art Deco barware. Micarta cocktail tray,
circa 1935, 15" diameter. Design attributed to Donald Dohner; in
micarta, the Westinghouse brand of Formica; burgundy, silver,
and turquoise; with three horizontal bands and another two bands
and quarter circles set at right angles. Very good condition.

Art Deco barware. Signed lithograph
cocktail tray with a scene of two greyhounds chasing two
gazelles through the forest. Signature is "Elmer Kreps". Silver
painted wood tray with stair stepped design to sides as well as
stair stepped design to exterior handles. Glass serving surface.
All original and does show wear to silver paint on wood and some
discoloration to litho but all-in-all a very beautiful and
interesting mid-to-late 1920's cocktail tray. Dimensions are 17
1/4" long x 11 1/4" wide.
