Art Deco Bedroom 1
French Art Deco bedroom suite of a beautiful bookmatched and burled walnut. Bedroom set is comprised of headboard/footboard/rails, two bedside tables that attach to headboard with attractive curved decorative back panels, very unusual vanity with interesting bevelled mirror design, and triple door armoire with bevelled mirror on center door. Original beautiful green veined marble tops on bedside tables and vanity are in very good condition.
Dimensions of the pieces are:
Triple door armoire: 61" wide x 23" deep x 72 1/2" tall.
Headboard: 57" wide x 43 3/4" tall
Footboard: 57" wide x 23 3/4" tall
Bedrails: to be added
Vanity: 48" wide x 19" deep x 64" tall.
Bedside tables: 15 1/4" wide x 13 1/2" deep x 22 1/4" tall (flat surface) and 36 1/2" tall (back panel at highest point).
Note: Bed size is very close to American queen. If the original bed dimensions are kept, a custom mattress can be made to fit perfectly. If you wish the bed to be altered to a true American queen (or king) in size, please inquire as Deco-Dence can perform any alteration required in our in-house artisan shops.

Art Deco Bedroom 2
French Art Deco bedroom in a quartersawn oak with quartersawn birdseye maple inlays. Birdseye maple inlays form the "sun" and the quartersawn oak radiates outward from the birdseye components in a "sunray" motif. Beautiful Art Deco hardware of mixed metals. This is another very interesting design using the sunray motif. Bedroom is comprised of headboard/footboard/rails, two bedside tables that attach to the headboard, vanity, and triple door armoire with bevelled mirror on center door.
Dimensions of the pieces are:
Triple door armoire: 62" wide x 22" deep x 74" tall.
Headboard: 59" wide x 49 1/2" tall
Footboard: 59" wide x 30 1/2" tall
Bedrails: to be added
Vanity: 50 1/2" wide x 17 1/2" deep x 32" tall.
Bedside tables: 15 1/2" wide x 13 1/2" deep x 25" tall (first flat surface), 29 1/2" tall (half round shelf), and 43" tall (back panel).

Art Deco Bedroom 3
Phenomenal French Art Deco bed in an ultra modernist design. Circa mid-1930's. Swathed in a gorgeous exotic wood (macassar ebony, cocobolo, rosewood, palisander possibly). Headboard is low-rise in height providing a wide, expansive surface to set items and to display treasured artwork on the wall above it. Headboard extends far enough to provide bedside tables on both sides. Headboard design stair steps in a three step fashion from extra wide bedside table on one side with large amount of storage and a pull-out writing surface down to the main bed and then down a third time to vanity/bedside table on other side of bed. Footboard is extremely eye-arresting with it's dramatic curve. Bed supports king bedding.
This style modernist bed is documented in the book "French Decorative Art, The Societe Des Artistes Decorateurs 1900-1942" by Yvonne Brunhammer and Suzanne Tise. Last photo above (black and white) is from page 216 of the book and documents a very similar bed designed by Suzanne Guiguichon and shown at the Pavilion of the Societe des artistes decorateurs, 1937, and whose exhibit is titled "House for an Intellectual Couple".

French Art Deco bedroom suite in a stunning bookmatched flame Satinwood. Flame Satinwood is bookmatched in such a way as to create huge sunrays eminating from center of four door armoire outward and sunray motifs on the remaining pieces as well. Satinwood is an extremely exotic and expensive wood from the era and highly desirable. Art Deco bedroom suite is comprised of four door armoire, headboard/footboard/rails, two bedside tables, and matching vanity.
